Mahindra Thar Roxx Bookings To Open on 3rd October : Here are the prices

Mahindra has introduced the Thar Roxx, a 5-door version of their popular off-road SUV. This new model aims to combine the rugged appeal of the original Thar with enhanced practicality and features suited for everyday use.

The booking process for the Thar Roxx is set to begin on October 3, 2024, at 11 am, with an official booking amount of Rs 21,000. Mahindra anticipates starting deliveries around October 12, 2024 (Dussehra) or by the end of the month. Interested customers can note that some dealers have already begun accepting unofficial bookings, and test drives have been available since September 14, 2024.

Pricing for the Thar Roxx ranges from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom), covering various variants including MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L. For those interested in off-road capabilities, 4×4 versions are available from Rs 18.79 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh.

Under the hood, the Thar Roxx offers two engine options. The 2.0L turbo-petrol engine produces 160bhp and 330Nm of torque. The 2.2L turbo-diesel engine offers different outputs based on transmission choice: 150bhp and 330Nm for the manual, and 172bhp and 370Nm for the automatic. Both engines come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

The Thar Roxx comes equipped with a range of features designed to enhance comfort and performance. These include an advanced suspension setup with FSD shock absorbers and a penta-link rear suspension, circular LED projector headlamps and LED taillights, and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, it boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Mahindra has also prioritized safety, including over 35 standard safety features.

For off-road enthusiasts, the Thar Roxx offers impressive capabilities. It features the 4XPLOR System with Electronic Locking Differential, a Smart Crawl feature for controlled low-speed driving, and an ‘Intelliturn’ feature for decreased turning radius.
