The Toyota LandCruiser will soon be available for purchase in the United States, and the vehicle’s debut is expected on August 2nd. The concluding round of teasers reveals that a number of rumors regarding the impending Land Cruiser Prado, an SUV that is closely connected to the Lexus GX model, were correct.
The new SUV has a rectangular grille with a ‘egg crate design’ and a huge Toyota badging, angular headlamps, squarish and muscular front and rear fenders, with a rugged and harsh style.
The tailgate is positioned in an upright position, and the tail lamps have a vintage appearance that is achieved via the use of transparent lenses. Some of the body panels look like they’ve been altered, and the new Land Cruiser Prado retains the up kicked window line that was introduced on the GX series.
It is anticipated that the cabin would have a genuine three-row SUV layout with space for seven passengers. The TNGA-F platform and powertrain will share the same body panels, parts of the interior, and off-road gear. Additionally, the platform will include Toyota design influences.
In North American markets, the new Land Cruiser will be marketed at a price point that is higher than that of the popular Toyota 4Runner SUV. The full-size Land Cruiser 300, which is sold in India, the Middle East, and other countries, was never introduced in North America as a potential successor for the Land Cruiser 200. However, this model is accessible in other parts of the world.
