Mercedes electric vans EQV and eVito get a fresh update

Mercedes-Benz Vans is giving its mid-sized series, which includes the electric EQV and eVito models, a new look, with a focus on style, comfort, safety, and usefulness.

The update gives the outer and interior a new look and makes the car more comfortable, safe, and useful. From 2026 on, all new medium-sized and big vans will be built on the new BEV platform VAN.EA. The goal is to have 50% of vans be all-electric by 2030. The drive methods for the EQV 250 (60 kWh) and EQV 300 (90 kWh) and the 150 kW engine power will remain the same.

The most important changes are to the look and the equipment. For example, the new front has a bigger radiator grille and the LED lights have been revised. At the back, there is also a new gold border bar that says Mercedes-Benz. Standard equipment has been improved. Sliding doors on the driver’s side are now installed at the factory, and the eVito Tourer now has an electric opening for the first time.

The EQV now has two 12.3-inch widescreen screens in one block that look like the dashboards of passenger cars. The eVito has a 5.5-inch dashboard and a 10.25-inch tablet, which are good for business users. Mercedes-Benz Vans’ new business plan says that it wants to offer “the most valuable vans and services” and achieve “leadership in electromobility and digital experiences.” The services tied to MBUX, which is now put in business vans, will help eVito customers the most.
